Pastor Ollie and Enid Hardaway, Co-Founders

a few words about Pastor Hardaway

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
(Romans 10:17)

Ollie Hardaway, Jr. is the senior pastor of Faith Christian Center.  He was born in Meridian, MS. He graduated from Harris High School. He matriculated through Jackson State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.

He furthered his studies at the University of Michigan where he graduated from the School of Dentistry in 1977.  Although he ventured away to pursue his profession, Dr. Hardaway returned to his roots and moved back to MS. to practice dentistry at Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center.  In 1980, he opened a dental practice in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he practiced for the next thirteen years.

Dr. Hardaway has achieved great success in the secular arena, but he is most accomplished in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He is a born again-Spirit filled ordained minister of the Gospel.  He served as assistant pastor at Faith Community Fellowship, in Jackson, MS under the leadership of Apostle Donald J. Anderson from 1979-1985.  In 1985, he began to carry out the commission of God to teach, train, and develop the people of God in the five-fold ministry.  With this commission in mind, he founded Faith Christian Center, Inc. in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he currently serves as the Pastor.  Faith Christian Center is a growing, prophetic church that is involved in not only the work of the ministry within its walls but also in the community of Warren County.
Ollie Hardaway and his wife Enid currently reside in Vicksburg.  They have two married children and five grandchildren.
